Lutheran Special Education Ministries formerly Lutheran School for the Deaf wants to help open the doors of Christian schools and congregations for special needs children.

Children who have special learning needs are often misunderstood. They look like other children but feel frustrated, lonely and unloved. For children like this, words may be a confusing jumble of letters, or math a series of numbers that don’t compute and paying attention may be an impossible challenge.
