Lutheran Special Education Ministries (LSEM) formerly Lutheran School for the Deaf wants to help open the doors of Christian schools and congregations for special needs children.

Children who have special learning needs are often misunderstood. They look like other children, but feel frustrated, lonely, and unloved. For children like this, words may be a confusing jumble of letters, math a series of numbers that don’t compute, and paying attention an impossible challenge.

But there is help...

LSEM serves Christian schools and congregations in metropolitan service areas across the country. Our national office is located in Detroit, Michigan. You may contact us any time and speak to one of our special education professionals to determine how we can support you or your ministry.
