Our mission is to enable children with special learning needs to receive a Christian education.  As a Christian ministry our vision is to reach across the United States, serve schools and churches, and enable children with special learning needs to know Jesus and to lead fulfilling lives.  

As we look to the future, we know that there is great potential for growth. One student in five has a special learning need. Law guarantees these children an education – a public education, where Jesus is not taught in the classroom. For those children whose families value a Christian education, Lutheran Special Education Ministries stands ready and eager to join in partnership with Christian schools and churches to bring the joy of Jesus to children in need.
